Kalimba Making Workshop! In-Person

Ages 7 – 12. Come decorate a playable African thumb piano called a Kalimba and learn to play a simple tune on it! Participants will also learn about other African and African American folk instruments like the banjo and the diddley bow, and instruments will be available for hands-on exploration during the second half of the program. Registration for this program opens on Wednesday February 11th and is required to participate. Space is also limited. To register call (919) 563-6431.
